How I grew Taller
73How I Grew Taller
I've been searching for ways to grow taller for years. My journey to grow taller was not an easy or simple one but I document how I grew Taller on my website. It all started when I found a study by Hiroki Yokota, P. Zhang, and CH Turner on Lateral Synovial Joint Loading. It was about joint loading on mouse hindlimbs to increase their height. CH Turner is an expert on mechanical loading and it's effects(known as mechanotransduction).
All cells essentially have an actin cytoskeleon(like your muscle cells). When you generate fluid flow by means such as lateral synovial joint loading you can induce fluid flow that brushes against that actin cytoskeleton. That actin cytoskeleton induces cells to perform certain activities like osteoblasts to deposit new bone beneath the periosteum or stem cells to differentiate into stem cells and chondrocytes.
Normal exercise like weight lifting and jumping can induce this fluid flow as well but not nearly to the degree as you can with lateral synovial joint loading. People may have grown a few millimeters from these fluid flow inducing activities but wrote it off as their imagination.
Lateral Joint Loading also upregulates and downregulates genetic expression within cells. It downregulates Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha which as it's name suggests causes tumor cells to die but it causes other cells to die as well including growth plate chondrocytes! By performing Lateral Synovial Joint Loading in development you will reduce TNF-alpha and reduce cell death resulting in larger growth plates and a taller stature. This also indicates that lateral joint loading will be beneficial for those who have inflammation in their joints as it lowers levels of inflammatory cytokines like TNF-alpha.
Lateral Synovial Joint Loading upregulates expression of genes involved in the Extracellular Matrix, PI3K(cellular proliferation stimulation), and TGF-Beta pathway(pathway that encourages stem cells to differentiate into chondrocytes). It's largest effect is to stimulate the ECM pathway and it mostly increases Matrix Metalloprotease 3 by five fold. MMP3 and other MMP's encourage new extracellular matrix deposition(some like MMP1 consume ECM but Lateral joint Loading produces MMP1 inhibitors).
MMP's also create cartilage canals and the cartilage canals form the basis for growth plates. This is another mechanism for how Lateral Synovial Joint Loading(termed LSJL for short) can increase height.
I have grown one inch using this height increase method. Others have grown around a quarter of an inch. The increase in bone size is prominent and results in larger ankles. There hasn't been many scientific experiments on lateral synovial joint loading other than the study on rats but that doesn't mean that individuals can not experiment in the interim. Most of the danger lies in chemical rather than physical methods. Most of the danger in physical methods occurs as a result of sudden movements(the punch that hurts the most is the one you doesn't see coming).
LSJL only takes about 10 minutes to perform each day. Will you grow taller too?
